#1 Secret to Wellness

Many of us are in search of the Fountain of Youth. Just think: Eternal Wellness!

What would you think if I actually told you my husband & I found the fountain on the side of a dirt road in rural eastern South Dakota? We brought our jugs, filled them up, and boiled the heck out of that water.

Do you believe me?

You should. That trip really happened!

We met some great locals who tried to explain where the fountain was located & some who thought we were crazy (obviously not locals!). After asking around, a very helpful pickup man led us past a hill, down a dirt road, and pointed beyond the tall grass near the side of the road. Sure enough, there it was!

The Fountain of Youth!

If you’re definitely not in the mood to travel to the middle of the United States, but are looking for protection during those chilly winter months of being stuck indoors, I have a natural solution for you!

And no, it’s not water from the fountain. BUT if you do decide to make the trip AND you find the fountain, you should DEFINITELY let me know!

I want to let you in on a little secret. Shhhhhh…

doTERRA’s On Guard.

Do you remember learning about something happening in the 14th century that took 50 million lives out of Europe?

Did you ever wonder how some of those people were able to live through that awful era?

Shhh… On Guard Protective Blend of essential oils was fumigated in some towns and even used topically on many of the people!

Those thieves, stealing from the dead? Well they washed all their stolen goods with the oils found in On Guard “Protective Blend”. Yep, they could continue stealing from the dead & keep their health!

Our family’s secret to good health? On Guard.

We use On Guard in our hand soap, toothpaste, mouth rinse, all purpose cleaner, laundry soap, hand sanitizer, on dryer balls, in our tea, and we inhale it aromatically using our diffuser (smells SO good!)!

Our bodies will NOT build up a resistance to these essential oils, unlike using over the counter pills & potions.

Are you “dying” to know what oils are in doTERRA’s On Guard Protective Blend and what they can do for your health?

I thought so!

Wild Orange Peel

Cold pressed from the peel, Wild Orange is one of doTERRA’s top selling essential oils due to its energizing aroma and multiple health benefits.* High in monoterpenes, Wild Orange possesses stimulating and purifying qualities, making it ideal to support healthy immune system function.* It can be taken daily to cleanse the body* or used on surfaces as a natural cleaner. Diffusing Wild Orange will energize and uplift the mind and body while purifying the air. Wild Orange enhances any essential oil blend with a fresh, sweet, refreshing aroma.

Clove Bud

Clove has been used for years in dental preparations, candy, and gum for its flavor and ability to cleanse the mouth, yet it provides a myriad of benefits. Its main chemical component, eugenol, makes it a very stimulating and energizing essential oil that can be used as a warming massage oil. Clove contains powerful antioxidant properties and supports cardiovascular health when taken internally.* As a cooking spice, Clove adds a spicy flavor to any dish or dessert while providing internal health benefits.* One drop can clean the teeth and gums while promoting fresh breath.

Cinnamon Leaf/Bark

Cinnamon is derived from a tropical, evergreen tree that grows up to 45 feet high and has highly fragrant bark, leaves, and flowers. Extracted from bark, Cinnamon oil supports healthy metabolic function and helps maintain a healthy immune system when needed most.* Due to its high content of cinnamaldehyde, Cinnamon should be diluted with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil when applied to the skin and only one to two drops are needed for internal benefits.* Cinnamon supports healthy metabolic function and helps maintain a healthy immune system, especially when seasonal threats are high.* Cinnamon is frequently used in mouth rinses and gums.* Cinnamon has a long history of culinary uses, adding spice to desserts, entrees, and hot drinks.

Eucalyptus Leaf

Eucalyptus trees are tall, evergreen trees that grow up to 50 feet in height and are sometimes referred to as Gum Trees. The main chemical components of Eucalyptus radiata are eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, making it an ideal oil to promote feelings of clear breathing and open airways and for creating a soothing massage experience. Eucalyptus has purifying properties that can be beneficial for the skin and for cleansing surfaces and the air. Studies have shown that Eucalyptus is effective in helping lessen tension. Eucalyptus can be found in mouth rinses to freshen breath and promote oral health.

Rosemary Leaf/Flower

Rosemary is an aromatic, evergreen shrub whose leaves are frequently used to flavor foods such as stuffings, pork, roast lamb, chicken, and turkey. Along with its culinary applications, Rosemary has many benefits. Rosemary supports healthy digestion* and internal organ function.* Long revered by experts, Rosemary was considered sacred by the ancient Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Hebrew cultures. Rosemary’s herbaceous and energizing scent is frequently used in aromatherapy. Taken internally, it helps to reduce nervous tension and occasional fatigue.*

My secret to staying on task? Diffusing Rosemary. You may seriously zone in to whatever you are working on!
